Wow, what kind of Friday news is this? When Apple first decided to throw down lawsuits against HTC, I don't think anyone thought anything would really happen for a few years. But according to Engadget, HTC has been found guilty of infringing 2 of the 10 patents in question.

Will this mean that HTC Evo 3D sales will be banned in the US? And will this mean that Apple will dominate the smartphone market b/c of its wealth of patents and their constant lawsuits? (They have another one against Samsung going on, the very folks that make their CPU).
Or will Apple just take a big wad of cash and move on? What do you think?
I personally think some of the patents granted are too generic. How can you patent something as basic as multitouch or screen rotation anyways??? The US patent dept is overloaded, and probably doesn't know too much about software/tech to start with...
