Sprint Must Pay Up to Clearwire in the Tune of One BILLION Dollars

Man, this article made me cringe.

After going through arbitration, Sprint agreed to pay Clearwire $1 Billion over the next 2 years for their WiMax 4G technology.

Maybe this is part of the reason that they are rumors about Sprint considering switching to LTE, which Verizon chose for their 4G.

Oh, and LTE is faster.  Much faster according to this real-world test.
